Mr. John “Bill” Dodd, 85, of Hollow Rock, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 11:00 AM until time of the service. Pallbearers who will serve are John Robert Jordan, Aidan Jordan, Kyler Hilliard, Chuck Hall, Don Steele, Jr. and Caden Hall.
Mr. Dodd was born April 28, 1938 in Hollow Rock, Tennessee, to the late Ruben and Edna Waters Dodd. He was a truck driver at Overnight trucking and a member of Prospect Baptist Church. He was a retired member of the Teamsters Union local #667. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred “Mickey” Dodd, a son, John Michael Dodd, a daughter, Lorrie Kee, and a grandson, Charlie Kee.
He is survived by two daughters, Billie Jo Jordan (Curtis) of Huntingdon and Debbie Pryor (Durante) of Paris, a son in law, Charles Kee, seven grandchildren, Christie Hall, Jamie Kee, JR Jordan (Rachel), Drew Jordan, Chuck Hall (Christi), Amber Jordan (Cody), Russell Pryor (Nikki). He also leaves sixteen great-grandchildren, Caylee Hall (Joseph), Hunter Kee, Caden Hall, Kaylee Jordan, Aidan Jordan, Kyler Hilliard, Greenlee Hilliard, Lynlee Hilliard, Asher Jo Hilliard, Rylie Kee, Mason Kee, Emmey Kee, Avery Kee, Samantha Cash, Jasper Wilson, Lainey Wilson, and six great-great-grandchildren, Charlie Hall, Eden Porter, Cadence Minton, Cash Jordan, Evan Hall, and Robyn Cash.
