Under the Direction of Miss Margaret Jenkins
The Central High School Bands for the year of 1960-61 were composed of 105 members, 75 of whick were in the marching band and 30 members in the young band classes. The marching band played and presented band shows at all football games except one. They marched at the Carroll County Fair and at the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival. Every year the band sponsors a stage band which participates in the Glee Club talent show. On March 10th the bands presented their annual Band Concert. The Marching band lost 16 members by graduation and 7 other members.
